Penalised ₹15 lakh in February 2026 — the second regulatory penalty against the institute in two years — over advertisements claiming 645 selections out of 1,016 UPSC vacancies. The regulator found the institute concealed that many of the candidates it advertised had enrolled only for mock interview sessions.

Section 02
The public record
Each document below is linked to its source. This is the entire evidentiary basis for the grade above — there is nothing else behind it.
- 01Regulatory orderFebruary 2026
CCPA imposes ₹15 lakh penalty for misleading UPSC result advertisements
The Central Consumer Protection Authority penalised the institute over advertisements claiming "Over 645 selections out of 1,016 vacancies in UPSC CSE 2023", alongside "6 in top 10 AIR", "35 in top 50 AIR" and "64 in top 100 AIR". The Authority found the institute deliberately concealed material information — specifically which courses the successful candidates had actually opted for — noting that many had enrolled only for mock interview sessions. The institute had previously been penalised ₹7 lakh for similar violations in advertisements relating to UPSC CSE 2022 results, and the repeat conduct led CCPA to treat this as a subsequent contravention and impose a steeper penalty.

What students say
Separate from the evidence above, and separate from the grade. This is where students who actually studied at Vajirao & Reddy Institute describe what they got for their money.
Reviews are the opinions of individual students, published after a moderator checks them. They are not findings of this site or of any regulator, and they have no effect whatsoever on Vajirao & Reddy Institute's grade — that comes only from the documents above.
Reviews are unavailable right now. The grade above is unaffected.
